Medical Plans

A reminder that it is essential for parents to provide the school with updated Action Plans for any medical conditions that your child may have. It would be appreciated if these could be sent in as soon as possible so that we can update our records.

Boys Cricket Trials

Congratulations to Will Higginson, Matthew Warren and Jett Edmunds who were successful in progressing to the next stage of the PSSA Cricket Trials. We wish the boys all the best in their next selection trials.

Stage 3 Release from Face to Face

For two hours each week, the Stage 3 class teachers have release from face to face (RFF). During this time, the classes are entertained, motivated and educated by myself! In semester one, students will be completing two Science units – Earth and Space & Material World and a Geography unit – A Diverse and Connected World.

In Earth and Space, we are looking at events that cause changes to the earth’s surface such as volcanoes, tsunamis and earthquakes. A very topical unit after the bushfires, droughts and floods we have experienced recently. In Material World, we are looking at how properties of materials determine their use. In A Diverse and Connected World we will be looking at the diverse features and characteristics of places and environments. This will be a fantastic lead in to the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

I am very excited to be teaching RFF across Stage 3 again this year. We have many fantastic discussions and debates; and, learn lots about the world in which we live.
